The Universe is generous; it is there to support us, and its celestial events hold more than mere cosmological significance—they offer boundless possibilities for spiritual contemplation.
At the autumnal equinox, when we experience equal amounts of daytime and nighttime, we are reminded of the natural order of things, the balance of the Universe.
This celestial event invites us to explore our own inner equilibrium—the light and dark that reside within each and every one of us. Embracing this truth—that nothing can exist without its opposite—can lead to the profound understanding that both the light and dark aspects of ourselves collectively shape our human experience.
Thus, following the equinox, as the shorter days cast shadows and naturally shift to longer nights, we, too, instinctively shift; we are compelled to focus on our own Shadow—the unconscious wounds we repress.
The intention is to face our Shadow and accept it as a part of us, for the sooner we
start to make peace with it and start to mend it within ourselves, metabolizing it and
healing it, the sooner we become whole and balanced, and life opens up.
For we all hold a Shadow within, and our Shadow is the crack where the light gets in.
